It's very easy to use kdiff3 to show file differences on windows by right clicking files from Windows Explorer and selecting compare from the kdiff3 menu.

Isn't there any way to get such integration in the Mac Finder?

  • I think you would need to write a "Service", which can be a simple script that you bundle up in Automator and save as a Quick Action. You can call kdiff3 from the command-line (like `kdiff3.app/Contents/MacOS/kdiff3 ff*`), so you should be able to do this, and then call the Service when you right-click on your files. – jimtut May 28 '21 at 13:54
