Is there a rule on how words like サボる and キレる were written? Why not write it in full katakana? I am really interested on the reason why the る is in ひらがな and not in カタカナ。 I tried typing サボル in my dictionary(desktop) in full katakana IME settings and nothing comes up but when I typed キレル in same IME settings, the meaning of the word appeared.
