Large spike at the center frequency when using Ettus X310
I am using the Ettus X310 SDR and GNU radio. On the GNU radio schema I have a standard UHD USRP source block connected to a GUI FFT sink - basically I'm just displaying the spectrum of the raw signal from the device.
Parameters for the USRP source…

Could 2 synchronised RX chains be used to receive a signal too wide for just one of them?
Say the goal is to demodulate a "wide" signal, e.g. 300 MHz wide. An SDR is available with a maximum RX bandwidth of 150 MHz (ADC sampling freq. limitation), but it comes with 2 RX channels sharing the same clock source.
The proposed approach is…

Having trouble transmitting/receiving a BPSK signal using two USRPs
I am relatively new to working with SDRs and GNURadio and I am attempting to generate a BPSK signal and transmit it through one USRP and receive and demodulate it on another USRP. I am using GNURadio and I am transmitting from an E310 to an N210…

Periodic Jumps in received signal
I am doing some preliminary tests to check the behaviour of two USRPs. The setup is simply an USRP B210 connected via cable to a N310. The B210 is sending a constant 1 at 2,48 GHz, the N310 is just receiving and saving the data to a file, both USRPs…

Confusion about the frequency of a signal recorded with a USRP
In my assignment I am provided with a recording of a radio signal that was supposedly done in the AM spectrum with a USRP, and I am told to process it in various ways with GNURadio. However, the assignment makes a statement about the recorded signal…

Calculating transmitter power from spectral density
I want to find out what is the real transmit power of my USRP 2922, unfortunately the only results I get when looking at the spectrum analyzer is the spectral power density.
These are the results of the my measurements (in LabView - transmitter…

Best way to resample an OFDM signal without interpolating + filtering?
I am working on a custom transceiver with a sampling rate of 3.84 MHz (256 OFDM subcarriers at 15 kHz, although 56 subcarriers are null). I would like to resample the signal to 5 MHz, in order to use a pair of USRPs N210 to communicate each other,…

USRP + GNU Radio as 1 GHz bandwidth spectrum analyzer
I have maybe not trivial but some interesting question.
I need to create 802.11ac channels spectrum analyzer with USRP.
Hardware: USRP B210
Software: GNU Radio 3.7.9
PC: Intel Core i3 i3210m 16 GB RAM.
According to documentation from:…

GNU Radio and USRP audio source problem
I have a modem which accepts a voice in GNU Radio, digitizes and compresses it (codec2) and transmits it using USRP on one laptop and receives it on another laptop.
When I use "Wave File Source" in the transmitter everything is OK and I clearly…

Undersampling in GNU Radio
I'd like to implement a FHSS receiver in GNU Radio, using a USRP B210. The total bandwidth of the signal is about 30 MHz, with each message having a bandwidth of about 200kHz. When I attempt to sample the signal to account for the full 30MHz…
