Organization that manages domain registrations

A domain name registrar is an organization (often commercial) that manages the reservation of Internet domain names. A registrar is accredited by a generic top-level domain (gTLD) registry and/or the country code top-level domain (ccTLD) registry.

If you wish to reserve a specific domain for your website, you will need to register it with a suitable domain name registrar.
