I want to send events from Google Tag Manager to Meta Pixel.

However, there are discrepancies between the number of events I send and the number of events Meta receives.

To verify that there is no issue in my GTM implementation, I send the same events to my Google Analytics account. (I trigger sending events to both Meta and GA using the same GTM triggers.) The number of events received in GA is correct, but in Pixel, not all events are shown in the statistics.

Is it possible that Meta is blocking some events on their side? Can you see any issues in my implementation below?

Here my Meta Basic Tag: Basic Tag

And here is my purchase event tag and trigger. You can see that the same trigger is also used to send events to GA4.

Purchase Trigger

For example, I compared data from the week of 01.06–07.06 (Pixel vs. GA4).

In GA4, about 70% more events were received.

Both platforms receive events from GTM using the same trigger, so the issue likely isn’t with the GTM setup.

Do you have any idea what could explain this discrepancy?
