Facebook Groups are a way for Facebook users to gather together on a topic and share their opinions and thoughts on a subject.

Any Facebook user is allowed to create a group and allow for access to be set as closed or secret.

This differs from Facebook Pages which can only be created by a representative of the said brand or celebrity and operate in public.
