I'm wearing two hats:

1. I am a professor at the Vienna University of Technology. My research topics are chemometrics and hyperspectral imaging.
2. I'm the founder and head of Epina GmbH which is dedicated to the development of software in science and technology. The two most recent projects are Epina DataLab, a tool for statistical data analysis, and Epina ImageLab, a tool for the analysis of hyperspectral images.

And yes, by the way, I'm an avid programmer :-)
