When I check the histogram of the participants' bias (measured by c), the distribution is right-skewed (i.e., more values are less than zero as expected). This indicates that the participants were more inclined to say "Yes". I was wondering whether it is possible to exclude the participants based on this value. For instance, some people suggest removing the participants with a d-prime value less than zero, as it implies that they are performing below the chance level.

Can sensitivity (d') and bias (c) values be used for participant exclusion? If yes, what is the appropriate way to do so?
