Everything that is "real" — like the heart, the mind, the body, the universe — is "other" than "us". And everything imaginary is within us: it's not "other".
That is only possible if we are also imaginary because imaginary and real don't mix.
But we freely mix with imaginary.
In fact, imaginary is borne, emerges from us, and remains in us as us.
Only when we specifically notice it does it give the sense of "other." Otherwise, it remains as indistinguishable part of us.
[EDIT]
This question is different from the one it's being compared to. That question presupposes the existence of sense of Self, it's just asking for it's status. But in this question I am asking about "sense of Self" as an EMERGENT Phenomenon from the intimate working of a System with certain Characteristics, which I have clearly mentioned in the question.
Also that question talks about dreaming etc. which I think further complicates already complicated subject matter.
Maybe an alternate title can be:
Is the "sense of Self", imaginary? OR Can sense of Self be a natural consequence of a certain system?!
I prefer calling "sense of Self" imaginary because it makes it personal and also The Being where it emerges is Fully Available to Me so I don't need another something to study it completely. I think this is a good question because this ACTUALLY is one of the Very Profound Experiences in Spirituality where the "False I" is broken and REAL SELF EMERGES.
I think the approach is good enough different and simple here such that it deserves an audience.
Thanks much in advance.
