I was reading the subtitles of a game and this と particle was confusing for me:
その言葉を最後に、ゆっくりと立ち上がる彼女。ふわりと長い髪が揺れ、俺の鼻先をかすめた。
「じゃあ、検温の時間だから…」
そして、そのまま背を向けると、廊下へ向かって歩き始めてしまった。
When I saw that と, the first thing I thought was that it could be the conditional と particle because it wouldn't make much sence to be the quotation particle. Usually, sometimes is translated to "when", but it's a "when" used in natural results, as in "when the summer comes, it becomes hot". But in this particular case, it doesn't seem to be a have that conditional aspect. What does it mean?
