What are the free and commercial tools available for Sybase Database?

Maybe this is a little late in the question stack here. Are you talking about Sybase's ASE database, or their SQL Anywhere database? – Jeff Gibson Jan 31 '12 at 15:19

As Sybase also has a JDBC driver any Java/JDBC tool should work too (at least the basic stuff).
These are the free JDBC based tools that I know of:
- DbVisualizer (not open source, but has a free version)
- ExecuteQuery
- SQL Developer That's not the one from Oracle! It's not open source but free as well
- SQL Workbench/J
- Squirrel has already been mentioned.
Another commercial tool that comes to my mind is: DB Solo

Last time I worked with Sybase in any quantity, the outfit I was working for used Embarcadero RapidSQL.
