Questions tagged [tabs]

A style of window management most commonly seen in web browsers, whereby multiple pages can be contained within one tabbed window.

While most commonly seen in web browsers, tabbed browsing is also present in many other applications, such as the current Adobe suite as well as Terminal. The tabs each represent a window. In many applications (the most common one using the tag being Safari), the tabs are placed below the toolbar but above the body. There are exceptions, e.g. Google Chrome.

This tag is for questions relating to the concept of tabbed browsing and/or the use of it.
