Final Cut Pro, non-linear video editing software developed and sold by Apple Inc.

Final Cut Pro X is a completely re-written 64-bit video editing Cocoa application. Its predecessor, Final Cut Pro 7, is a 32-bit Carbon application that was a part of Final Cut Studio package. FCPX takes advantage of more than 4GB of RAM and it utilizes all CPU cores with Grand Central Dispatch. Open CL support allows GPU accelerated processing and improved performance for playback, rendering, and transcoding. It is resolution-independent app, supporting images sizes from SD to beyond 8K.
