I’m a scientist working in bioinformatics at EMBL-EBI and the University of Cambridge. I grew up in Berlin and Lyon.

Most of my time is spent analysing genomic data from high-throughput sequencing. My PhD thesis was about the regulation of expression of non-coding RNA (especially tRNA) in mammals.

My main programming interests span from C++ over .NET and dynamic languages (Python, R …) all the way to XHMTL/CSS.
